Great comedor in Antigua. I was the only tourist, there were just locals eating when I was there, which is always a plus! I had the pollo and it was a very tasty and big portion with extra tortillas and an amazing passion fruit drink. The price is cheap for what you get and also compared to the prices in all touristic places. Staff is attentive. Totally recommended!

Some of the best carne asada grilled to perfection with excellent sides. Try the puyazo cut of beef with frijoles guacamole y vegetales and of course tortillas. Excellent, visit and enjoy

Fantastic traditional Guatamalan food in a local place. Depending on what you choose - delicious guacamole, refried beans, hot tortilla chips, salad and hot tortilla as well as meat of your choice! Excellent value for money (dishes from Q40-60). Prawns were Q90. Lots of locals dined here too. We went here twice as it was so good! Best was carne asado for us!! The menu does change. Definitely worth the walk from town and is so cheap. The restaurant could do with a lick of paint and looked a bit aged but the food was delicious. Thanks so much

Excellent healthy food, local style served fast. Vegetables and anything water related is purified so it's safe for travelers from abroad. Very authentic cafeteria, I would highly recommend this eatery, they have a nice vegetarian option with cheese quesadillas, sauteed vegetables, rice and salad.

Cafeteria La Concepción is a definite must try! The food is not only delicious but also incredibly affordable, making it a perfect spot for anyone looking for a healthy and satisfying meal. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall warm atmosphere. Plus, the food arrived quickly, which is always a bonus. I’ll definitely be returning during my stay in Antigua – highly recommend it to anyone in the area!Oh my gosh, I totally forgot to mention. They also have this passion fruit juice that is to die for! Try it out for yourself! Update:Told y’all I’d be back. This time I tried the filete de pescado and it was just as delicious!

People's reviews don't lie. Definitely authentic Guatamalan food. Carne Asada is highly recommended. Great place to eat always from the touristy feel.

Came here for lunch today, thoroughly enjoyed it. I got the pescado for q50. Everything is homemade, good value, good portion size, friendly and quick service, seems like authentic Guatemalan food frequented by locals. Thank you :)
